I am a published author, commissioned playwright, and award-winning performance poet with a passion for using storytelling as a catalyst for change. As a National Spoken Word Champion and World Finalist, I have had the privilege of performing on stages across the globe, including representing England in Paris at the World Poetry Slam. These experiences have shaped my approach to creating powerful, inclusive narratives that resonate with a diverse range of audiences.

I have dedicated much of my career to exploring themes of identity, mental health, gender, race, love, and belonging. My work challenges societal norms and opens up space for marginalized voices, particularly those of racially minoritised, disabled, Deaf, and neurodivergent communities. I believe in the transformative power of inclusive storytelling—not just as an artistic endeavor but as a way to foster understanding and create lasting social impact.

With a profound grasp of language and metaphysics, I craft poetry that captivates audiences with delicate passion.

“Amarachi Rachel Nwokoro is a fist fight at the Women’s Institute. Her poetry is uncompromising, fiery and unflinching. A charming assassin. Go see her” — Joelle Taylor

With years of experience in public speaking and creative direction, I craft content that resonates deeply with audiences and drives positive change. Whether through poetry, performance, or consulting, I aim to create work that entertains, inspires, and encourages a more inclusive world.
