drag artist and haus of staynes

Bursting with surreal innovation and absurd surprises, I am a groundbreaking, gender-disrupting drag artist and mother to “Home of Staynes” - a draghaus that centres afrocrip, neuroqueer, trans, trauma survivors. Performing as my Igbo-american drag persona “L’il Wank Stayne” I won heat 10 of Europe’s biggest drag king competition “Man Up” in 2022. Going on to direct a devised ensemble piece, supporting new collaborators to unleash their own inner drag personas. I freestyle rapped to L’il Wayne on the main stage of the sold out Clapham Grand in front of more than 1000 people at the Man Up final. My drag development involves experimenting with the creation of more characters. A bit like a mad, drag scientist with a great arse.
